WebKora Privacy Policy

In short: WebKora does not collect, store on any server, sell or share any personal data. Everything it does happens on your own computer, inside your browser.

What WebKora does

WebKora is a browser extension that saves web pages as PDF, PNG or JPG files (the whole page, a section or a selected area) and lets you download the images shown on a page. It only acts when you click its icon or use one of its keyboard shortcuts, and only on the tab you are viewing.

Data we collect

None. WebKora has no servers, no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not send the pages you visit, the captures you make or any other information to the developer or to any third party.

Data stored on your computer

Settings (for example your default PDF format or image resolution) are saved with Chrome's storage API. If you use Chrome Sync, Chrome may sync these settings across your own devices.
History: your recent captures (the image, the PDF, the page title and address, and the date) are kept in your browser's local storage so you can open them again. You choose how many captures to keep in Options and can delete any of them, or all of them, from the History page at any time. Removing the extension deletes them too.
Files you download are saved where you choose, like any other download.

Permissions

debugger — used only on the tab you capture, only while the capture runs, to create PDFs with real text and high-resolution images using Chrome's own rendering engine. Chrome shows a notice bar during that moment.
activeTab and scripting — to show WebKora's selection tools and prepare the page you are capturing, only after you click the extension or use a shortcut.
downloads — to save the files you ask for.
storage, unlimitedStorage and offscreen — to keep your settings and History on your computer and to download large files reliably.

Children

WebKora does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes — for example, if a future version adds an optional feature that needs to send data somewhere — this page will be updated and the change will be explained clearly in the extension before it is used.
